Grew up in the valley betwknowneen Alvarado and LeMoyne st on a st named lakeshore ave. By one of the funest

hills to play on as a kid and that would b baxster and not to forget Fargo my great great great great grandfather came to los Angeles in 1892 and built his home on a winding lakeshore that was to completed in 1910 he was the founder of avondale his frnds were many frm the time were just a hand shake was ur word.Wrigley hal roach jack Webb were just sum of the ppl he knew I'm interested in ur establishment and would like to share my fmly history around echo park with others

I lived on Allesandro St at 2158 2 blocks north of Fargo Hill from 1942-1947. I am looking for anyone w/ info to share. I have photos from the early 40s of our house which was in a court and many on the opposite hill side which then was divided by the train tracks below now the Glendale Freeway.
